Paint Night with the Marine Museum

Paint Night for websiteJoin us for an exciting new program series where you can experience the history and environment of a local site and capture it through painting to share with friends and family! Our new four-part series takes you on location to waterfront sites around Kingston where you can follow in the footsteps of plein air artists like the Group of Seven. Learn about local history with Museum staff and create your own plein air acrylic painting through live-instruction with local artist Mikayla Barney.

This fun and informal series is open to artists of all abilities, so bring a blanket, cushion or chair and an evening of good company and learning! And, because it is outdoors it is entirely weather dependent. Each program is 2-hours in length from 5:30pm-7:30pm with two options for tickets;

$15 per person: bring your own supplies

$20 per person: materials and supplies provided

OR register for the whole series: $50 BYOS and $70 supplies provided

A complete materials list will be provided when you register. To join in the fun, register for an individual location or for the entire series by clicking on a location below.

COVID-19: social distancing, hand sanitizer and screening questions will be in place to create a safe and comfortable program environment. All supplied materials will be sanitized before and after use.
