The Museum is now open at its national historic site location at 55 Ontario St. Visitors are welcome to visit our storefront gallery space in the Lobby of the Museum with its display of ships models, artifacts and paintings.

Summer hours (21 May to Labour Day) - Monday to Sunday: 10am to 5pm

Winter hours (Sept-May) - Mon. to Fri.: 10am to 4pm


The Museum offers pre-booked guided tours of the Kingston Dry Dock National Historic Site Wednesdays and Fridays at 2pm. These tours are 45 minutes in duration. Tours are not restricted by social bubble, but are available to maximum of 15 people at a time. Book a tour now here.

Admission to the Gallery is free, but donations are always welcome.

Historic Site Tours must be pre-booked. Tickets are;

    • Adults - $10 plus tax
    • Students/Seniors - $8 plus tax
    • Children under 12 - free

COVID-19 Protocols

Proof of vaccination is not required for gallery visits or guided tours. However, visitors are required to complete contact tracing and self-screen upon entering the Museum. Social distancing is encouraged and hand sanitizer is provided. Full list of COVID-19 protocols available here.

Please note, as of 21 March 2022, in accordance with the Province of Ontario's mask mandate lifting, face-masks are no longer required, but certainly encouraged. Please respect both staff and visitors who choose to wear one.
